ABOUT
Highly regarded for her emotive technique, photographer Jurga Graf picked up her first camera as a child in Lithuania. Influenced by the raw approach of famed photographer Antanas Sutkus, her style is clean and minimal yet profoundly expressive. At its core lies a deep fascination with humanity and the fundamental belief that a photographer must truly love a person to capture his or her essence in portrait. Jurga’s portraiture is intuitive and empathic. She explores personality and psyche in a classic, holistic vein. Her underlying philosophy and instincts result in work lauded as genuine, honest, and seemingly effortless.
Based in Germany, working worldwide.
